Learn butterfly techniques to improve your speed and stamina

Olympic bronze medalist Kim Vandenberg specialized in the butterfly and freestyle. She is a gold medalist from the 2011 Pan American games in both the 200 butterfly and the 4×200 freestyle relay, she is also a silver medalist from the 2007 world championships in the 200 fly and a three time national champion in the 200 fly. Vandenberg is an ambassador for Up2Us Sports, a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underserved youth by providing them with coaches trained in positive youth development. She is also an ambassador for Kids Play International, a non-profit organization using sport as a catalyst to promote gender equity in communities impacted by genocide.

Since the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she has traveled the world giving motivational talks and teaching swim clinics to international schools throughout Asia, Europe and South America. Vandenberg continues to promote women in sports as a contributing writer for the Women’s Sports Foundation. She is also a mentor for Rise Athletes and teaches swim clinics and private swim lessons to swimmers of all ages and levels.
