Description

The Swim & Tread Challenge is a fundraiser built around two tests of endurance: how far you can swim, and how long you can hold. Meet 3-time Olympian Jon Cleveland and 5-time Guinness World Record holder Merle Liivand as you take on the SWIM — as many laps as you can complete in 30 minutes — followed by the TREAD, 15 legs-only minutes with hands and arms up and out of the water. Touch the water during the tread, and you’re out.

Prizes go to the top three finishers by lap count who also complete the tread, plus an award for the participant who raises the most in pledges. Every swimmer earns bragging rights.

Registration includes a pledge form so friends and family can sponsor your swim — by the lap or with a flat donation — with all proceeds supporting Swim Strong Foundation’s scholarship and educational fund. Space is limited to 50 swimmers, and spectators are welcome for $10 at the door.
